SBI Probationary Officer is one of the most popular exams of the country. Every year lacs of students eagerly wait for SBI PO Notification. When SBI PO Notification will be released?
As per the news SBI PO notification is going to be released shortly. SBI may announce Probationary Officer Recruitment Notification in April 2020. Preliminary Exams are likely to be conducted in June 2020 and Mains Exams are likely to be conducted in July 2020.
To be eligible for SBI PO you must be a graduate from a recognized university. Age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years. Relaxation in age available as per the government norms.
Exam Pattern of SBI PO
SBI PO selection process consists of Preliminary Exam followed by Main Exam, Group Discussion and Interview. Candidates qualifying preliminary exam will have to appear for the Main exam followed by Group exercise and Interview is the last stage of the Selection Process. The qualifying marks in Interview round is 40% for General and OBC categories and 35% for other categories.SBI PO Main exam and Interview round have 75% and 25% weight-age respectively in preparing the final merit list.
How much time is required for preparation?
Normally 6 months are enough for preparation. However if you already have a good base and you are already preparing for competitive exam you can easily prepare for SBI PO in 3-4 months of time. You need to do a dedicated and focused preparation with quality study material. Your focus should be on speed as well as accuracy.
