Correct approach for preparation from good books
In my view 6 months preparation is good enough for IBPS clerk. After 6 months preparation you should be clear about most of the topics covering entire syllabus of IBPS Exam. However, preparation for competition exams is a continuous process and your objective should be to continue regular preparation till you get the final selection.
Apart from reading these books, candidates should also regularly read one newspaper such as The Hindu, The Times of India, The Indian Express etc. The reading should be focused on developments in India and the World regarding the banking and finance sector. While reading also note down difficult words and build your vocabulary.
Also go through NCERT books of 8th and 10th standard on all these subjects and go through the relevant syllabus.
You should also regularly read monthly magazines such as Banking Services Chronicle, Pratiyogita Darpan, Competition Success Review etc. You should also attempt all previous questions papers of IBPS clerk say of last 5 years.
