In this post I am going to discuss about expected SSC CHSL Cut Off 2019 for Tier I and also about the previous years SSC CHSL Cut Off of Tier I. This post is very important for students as it is crucial for you to understand about the cut off so that you can prepare well for your exam.
Before telling you about the expected cut off I will explain you about cut cut off and factors determining the Cut Off.
Understanding Cut Off
Cut Off in a competitive exam is of two types.
Sectional Cut Off: Sectional cut off is the minimum marks you need to qualify a section. For example sectional cut off for IBPS PO 2017 for Quantitative Section was 7.75 marks out of 35 marks for General Candidates. It means that one need to score at least 7.75 marks to be eligible to qualify Quantitative Section of IBPS PO 2017. It further means that even you have scored very good marks in the overall exam but if you failed to score minimum cut off of a section, you are not eligible to qualify. This example I have given you just to explain you about the sectional cut off. In SSC CHSL there is not sectional cut off but you must be clear about the sectional cut off as in most of the exams sectional cut off provision is there.
Overall Cut Off: In SSC CHSL overall cut off provision is applicable. It means that you have to clear the overall cut off of the exam to qualify the exam. In SSC CHSL notification there is no mention of the sectional cut off. But I will suggest you that your target should be to perform equally well in all four sections. Only then you will be able to score high marks and will be able to overall cut off.
